Dear St Mary & St John Parents and Carers,

We hope you enjoy the latest edition of the school newsletter.

Included in this edition of the newsletter:
• Our new value: Courage
• New Curriculum Maps and Knowledge Organisers
• World Book Day Details
• Key Stage 2 playground update
• Parenthood
• Dates for your diary

This week’s #wakeupwednesday shares what parents need to know about WhatsApp. With Ofcom reporting that over 7 million UK children use WhatsApp, it’s important to understand what risks the platform might pose to young people.

March’s Wellbeing Calendar is a day early, and focused on mindfulness. Sunday’s challenge is to notice three things you find beautiful in the outside world. What do you notice?

Today you will have received information about signing up for parent/carer/teacher consultations. Please sign up for a slot with your child/ren’s class teacher so that we can share with you their successes and next steps.

Next Thursday (6th March) is World Book Day. Please do not feel any pressure to buy or make an elaborate costume. Mrs Stevenson has sent out some lovely low-key ideas for the day.

We hope you have a lovely weekend,
Bex Stott & The St Mary & St John Team
