Dear St Mary & St John Parents and Carers,

It has been a short but super busy term, with many opportunities for our children to learn, reflect and grow. We are incredibly proud of the maturity, enthusiasm and courage our pupils continue to demonstrate across all areas of school life.

Please find our latest school newsletter in the link above, which shares a snapshot of recent activities, achievements and important updates:

Highlights include:

  • A brilliant Red Nose Day, raising over £400 through donations and sales
  • An inspiring example of pupil voice, with a Year 6 pupil leading change around sustainability
  • Another energetic iRock performance
  • Our whole-school Easter service at St Mary & St John’s Church, including wonderful pupil musicians
  • A memorable trip to Farmer Gow’s for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
  • Information about the uKids Easter holiday camp and how it supports the school
  • A fond farewell to Mrs Ahmed, as she retires after many years of dedicated service

As always, the final pages include key dates for the coming terms, including exciting events such as Sports Day, residentials and performances.

Thank you for your continued support. We hope you enjoy reading the newsletter and seeing just some of the wonderful things happening across our school community.

Wishing you and your families a wonderful Easter break.

With best wishes,

Bex Stott
