Dear St Mary & St John Families,
Can you believe we are almost at the start of a new academic year? We hope you have all had a wonderful summer and are as excited as we are to get going again!
We are really looking forward to welcoming the children back to school on Thursday 3rd September. The teachers have been in today, busily preparing classrooms and getting everything ready for the year ahead.
In the blue link above is our first newsletter of the year. It includes important information for families who are new to SSMJ, along with some useful reminders for our more seasoned SSMJ families!
You will also find details of what the children will be learning this term. Our newsletters are sent out fortnightly and, alongside celebrating all that has been happening in school, you can expect regular features including #WakeUpWednesday Online Safety, a monthly wellbeing focus with practical ideas for looking after ourselves, and reminders of key dates and events. There is also a full-year calendar at the end of each newsletter to help with planning ahead.
We are very excited to have everyone back and cannot wait to see the school full of children again. We look forward to seeing you on the gates later this week!
