Open to all Parents and Teachers

Every parent or carer of a child at the school automatically becomes a member of the PTA when their child starts school. Everyone on the teaching staff is also a member.

 

PTA Aims and Activities

The PTA’s key aims are to bring together families and teachers of children at St Mary & St John and support the school, through social and educational events, fund-raising, and campaigning on school and community issues.

  • Meetings are held once a term, to plan events and as a forum for discussing a wide range of subjects.
  • Fund-raising and social events are held nearly every week of term, all through the year.
  • A small committee meets regularly to coordinate activities.

Newsletters and an annual report keep everyone up to date with achievements and events.
