Key Stage 1
At the end of Year 1 (5–6 years old) all children have a phonics screen to see how well they are doing with reading words which have a phonic pattern. There are 40 words and they need to read 32 correctly to meet the expected standard. Children who do not meet the expected standard do the screen again in Year 2. Last year the screen was done in June 2025.

Key Stage 2
At Key Stage 2, attainment is measured by teacher assessments (TAs) in Writing and by Standard Assessment Tests (SATs) in Reading, Maths and Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling.
These are our school results for children in Year 6 (10–11 years old) last year. The tests were taken during May 2025. There were 52* children in the cohort.
