Dear Parents and Carers,
As we come to the end of another school year, it’s been a wonderfully busy and joy-filled time here at St Mary & St John. These final weeks are always a whirlwind — full of energy, excitement, and plenty of moments to treasure.
The children have been meeting their new teachers, showcasing their learning in exhibitions, and heading off on adventures big and small. There’s been a real sense of pride in the air — pride in how far they’ve come, and excitement about what lies ahead in September.
A huge thank you, as always, for your ongoing support — and for sharing your brilliant children with us. They bring such joy, curiosity and laughter into school each day, and it’s been a pleasure to learn and grow alongside them this year.
Attached is our latest newsletter, packed full of recent highlights from across the school. There’s a lot to celebrate — so you might want to settle in with a cuppa, or maybe an ice-lolly, and enjoy the read!
This edition also includes some fond farewells — not least to our fabulous Year 6s and their families. We will miss you all a lot.
Just a quick reminder: school finishes at 1:30pm on Tuesday, and we’ll be ready to welcome everyone back (bright and early!) at 8:35am on Wednesday 3rd September… ready to do it all again!
