Dear St Mary & St John Parents and Carers,
It has been lovely to welcome everyone back after the February half-term break. We hope you were able to enjoy some restful time with family and friends. The children have returned full of energy and have quickly immersed themselves in their new learning for Term 4, embracing the fresh topics and big questions with great interest.
Please find the latest school newsletter in the link above, which outlines what each year group will be exploring in the weeks ahead.
Highlights include:
- COURAGE: Our new value
- Hard at work and at play across the school
- Music and Outdoor Learning
- World Book Day
- Teacher consultations
- SWIFT course for parents and carers
- News from Mrs Taberer
This week’s #WakeUpWednesday focuses on WhatsApp, sharing helpful advice for parents and carers. It explains how features such as group chats, disappearing messages, ‘Channels’ and location sharing can expose young users to pressure, unwanted contact and inappropriate content.
We’re sharing the Mindful March wellbeing calendar a little early, as March begins on a Sunday — a perfect opportunity to look ahead and set a positive tone for the month.
Finally, you’ll find updated dates for your diary on the last page.
We hope you enjoy a restful weekend and perhaps even a little sunshine.
With best wishes,
Bex Stott
and the St Mary & St John Team
