Artsmark – GOLD!
We are VERY proud to announce that we have been awarded the Artsmark GOLD award by the Arts Council England. HUGE thanks to Ms Moreton and Ms Blackwell for initiating and facilitating our Artsmark journey and then collating all the evidence, which celebrates how highly we value the arts at SSMJ! And of course, thanks goes to the amazing artists we have in school – the children – for all their hard work!

Becoming a ‘Spellbound School’ with the Story Museum has provided valuable training and staff have become more confident in their own arts skills, bringing these into play in the classroom. You have redesigned your art curriculum, using Access Art resources, and you have extended the range of performing arts opportunities and clubs.
